10:30-45am Restroom stop at Carson Safety Rest Area on I95 south of Richmond, VA
12:30-1pm Virginia Welcome Center, I-95, Ruther Glen, VA 22546, Lunch & restroom stop
2pm Library of Congress Tour
4pm White House (photo op in front of White House)
4:30pm Washington Monument
5pm WWII Memorial
5:30pm MLK Memorial on Tidal Basin
6pm Korean War Memorial
6:30pm Lincoln Memorial (photo op; drivers go get vans at 6:45pm)

COST PER STUDENT: $245. Includes transportation (van rental, gasoline, DC parking), two nights at Residence Inn National Mall Hotel in a shared queen bed (best to sign up with a friend), all sight-seeing including museums and tours, as well as two breakfasts, two lunches, and two dinners.
THERE IS LIMITED ROOM FOR ONLY 6 WOMEN AND 6 MEN STUDENTS. The first 12 people to submit $45 deposits (both of the two friends sharing a bed) will be selected to participate in the trip.
A NONREFUNDABLE DEPOSIT OF $45 IS DUE BY Saturday 10/3/26 to reserve your seat in the van. The remainder of $200 is due by Saturday 10/10/26. If the remainder is not paid by 10/10, you and your friend will forfeit your deposits and your seats will sadly be given to other students. Payment by Venmo, Zelle, Paypal, or cash.
We will have two minivans with 6 students and two IFI volunteers in each. Bring everything you need in only one regular sized backpack. We do not have room for any extra bags or suitcases!
We will have two (1 girls, 1 guys) XL hotel rooms with three queen beds. IFI volunteers will sleep on floor mattresses. You must register with a friend with whom you will share a queen bed. (If you do not have someone to register with, but are willing to share a bed with someone you do not know yet, please contact Elizabeth and let her know your situation.)
